QUALITY ASSURANCE
Cole Equipment, Inc. is the ONLY Fire Alarm/Life Safety
supplier in Birmingham with a full time quality assurance team. This
team is responsible for double checking the proper installation and
operation of each system installed. As part of our concern to insure
each and every system is maintained in a ready condition, Cole
Equipment, Inc. provides continuing maintenance, inspection and
testing contracts.
These available programs provide thorough and detailed
inspections and testing that exceed recommended capital and NFPA
standards. These programs provide:
- Visual and functional test of all Life Safety Control
Equipment
- Visual and functional test of all Fire Alarm Signaling and
Initiating Devices.
- Verification of adequate Fire Alarm Signal Levers.
- Functional test of System Operation and Integrity on Standby
Power.
- Functional "Maximum Load" test with all Fire Alarm
Signaling Devices activated simultaneously.
- Check proper operation of all Auxiliary Life Safety Control
Functions (i.e. fan, shutdown, elevator recall, stair fan
operation, visual alarms, etc.).
- Complete written report of all test results and recommendation
for your records and use.
This type of quality assurance allows building owners and tenants
the added security that the property’s Life Safety System is
functioning properly and insures proper system operation as required
by local and national codes. Cole Equipment, Inc. conducts
the type of inspection and test that every Life Safety System should
be required to endure.
